"The Tale of the Disappearing Beauty" - Cooperative Sherlock Mystery Game

An excellent mystery. We play a lot of these and we really enjoyed this one. While parts of it may seem easy, you would be making a mistake to not take this case seriously and rush through it. Take your time and really try to work out theories about exactly what's going on and why and understanding the evidence, especially in part 3 and 4. Would happily buy the next case, you should be proud of what you created. -jesse (co-op for two youtube channel)

A thoroughly enjoyable evenings entertainment. My partner donned his deer stalker and I my bowler, a necessity in order to crack the case. Please please make more.

This was a brilliant detective game. I spent a fun 2 hours solving it. Please create another.

My husband bought me this for Christmas and had to dash to the letterbox before I got to it due to the outer envelope having the games logo on it. We have just spent an enjoyable afternoon completing the case and did arrive at the right conclusion . I can see the work that has gone into producing this and the quality is high. We were missing the Business Card so had to get that online. My only issue is that it's expensive for a one time use game for the price.

Overall a very well themed, designed and executed detective experience. Myself and my mum spent 3 hours enjoying this game putting clues together to figure out the answer. The reliance on physical evidence over digital was well balanced and themed to the time period the game was themed to. However, we did encounter some elements of the game that didn’t make sense completely to the story or evidence provided. This along with the epilogue (of which I won’t spoil here) recounted evidence that wasn’t present during the investigation that would have made it easier to come to the intended solution for the case took away from some of the immersion. It was only by luck of having random historical knowledge and linking characters together with it that we got part of the solution just before reading the answers. Despite this, for a first attempt at this type of game it is one of the best themed and detailed ones I have played and seen. The terminology used and attention to detail in the creation of the contents is what makes this game unique in its field. It is also well worth its price compared to other detective style games with less content or immersion. It was a joy to play and deduce alongside Holmes and Watson and I hope we get to see more from the Sherlock Investigates team in the future as this game was as the iconic detective says: “Elementary!”
